PRF200 Professional Development Portfolio

Project Overview

This module helped me grow both personally and professionally, encouraging independence in how I manage and reflect on my learning. It focused on applying creative digital design skills in real workplace settings as part of the apprenticeship programme.

At first, I struggled with compatibility issues using Adobe Portfolio, so I explored free alternatives and found Universe, which I used to successfully build and share my portfolio content for Years 4 and 5. When the free option ended, I chose to purchase my own Ionos website for Year 6, giving me full creative control and flexibility.

I regularly captured evidence of how I was developing and applying skills at work,  from screen designs, animations, and prototypes to written reflections and feedback. The process helped me link my studies to real-world projects, while building a portfolio that shows my creativity, progress, and professional standards.

Although various portfolio platforms were suggested, I took a different route that worked better for me, showing initiative and adaptability in overcoming technical challenges.
